Nuclear's got No Moves Performance - 15 minutes
Teach in and discussion about nuclear proposals in Florida

Description

Climate of Hope is a 30 minute documentary created to demystify climate change and nuclear energy. While the threat of climate change is now widely accepted in the community, the potential for a host of nuclear power stations in Australia has raised questions about the best trategy for our country to move to a low-carbon economy.

This animated documentary takes viewers on a tour through the science of climate change, the nuclear fuel chain, and the remarkable energy revolution that is under way.

Nuclear's Got NO Moves is a piece of popular/street theater created to educate and inform people about the new wave of nuclear power plant proposals in their state/city/region.

The teach in will be about Progress/Regress Energy's plan to build a new nuclear reactor at Crystal River, and FPL's plans to expand their Turkey Point reactor in Miami, and Floridian resistance to that.
