Nonviolent Communication is a language process and set of simple communication skills developed by Dr. Marshall Rosenberg.Prior knowledge of Nonviolent Communication is not necessary. This is a foundations workshop, after which you will be able to attend ongoing, practice circles, if you'd like.Marshall Rosenberg's main NVC book "Nonviolent Communication, a Language of Life," from which the practice is based, is available at several retailers including, locally, the Main Book Shop, downtown, Sarasota or the facilitator may have some to sell.Mercedes Frace, NVC Practitioner & Trainer Candidate has taught NVC to hundreds of people for the past 4 years. She sees NVC as the key to social change and healing. Mercedes has trained directly with Dr Rosenberg, she is training in AVP and has a strong desire to make this profound work available to all people and underserved communities. compassionflower@msn.com
